INBRE graduate research assistantship opportunity open

Applicants must be full-time graduate students currently enrolled in Ph.D. or Master’s Degree programs at UAF, мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± or UAS, and in good academic standing (min. 3.0 GPA). Applicants are expected to have formed a graduate advisory committee and filed a graduate study plan.

мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± and Ted Stevens Foundation commemorate ANCSA’s 50th anniversary

The мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± is partnering with the Ted Stevens Foundation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of signing the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA), the largest land claims settlement in U.S. history. In 1971, President Richard Nixon signed the law, which ‘settled’ Alaska Native aboriginal claims and transferred more than 40 million acres of land to Alaska’s Native people.

Seawolf Debate closes out fall ‘21 semester strong!

The мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± students who make up the competitive squad of the Seawolf Debate Program demonstrated their resilience and commitment with an extraordinarily strong showing in the fall 2021 semester. After over 18 months of COVID-related disruptions, the Seawolf debaters proved they had not lost their edge.

Following a competitive search, the мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± Budget Office is pleased to announce Ryan Buchholdt as the department’s permanent director. Ryan stepped into the position of interim director in April 2020.

The Center for Human Development is seeking applications for a Family Services Training Center Lead Behavioral Health Training Coordinator. This position will provide coordination and facilitate non-academic training instruction for the professional/licensed behavioral health service provider workforce and support career development opportunities for paraprofessionals, professionals and stakeholders providing child and family services across Alaska.

Southside house for rent

A fully furnished house in South Anchorage is available from now until end of July 2022. The house has four rooms. I am renting out two rooms on the first floor.
