Biography

My areas of specialization are in bioethical analysis, practical philosophy and applied ethics (especially environmental philosophy, and the intersection of biomedical and public health, food, animal, agricultural, climate and veterinary ethics), and the Philosophy of Technology. Currently, I have that is supported by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) and involves normative valuation of animal disease management preparedness and response through engagement with veterinarians, bioethicists, disaster management decision-makers and citizens.
