Mar铆a Eugenia Prepares the Aw谩n

For many years Mar铆a Eugenia Suset Zulueta has prepared the food for the aw谩n, a ritual
held every December in Perico. The bowls are filled with seeds and legumes that will
be offered to the ancestors in an elaborate ceremony that includes drumming, dancing
and singing late into the night.
