Skills for Engaging in Challenging Conversations on Campus

by Green & Gold News  |

Join us for the first of three workshops offering skills for engaging in challenging conversations on campus. Learn about two important resources for engaging across difference:

  1. the (C)LARA method (Center, Learn, Affirm, Respond and Add) and
  2. methods to work with "conversation blockers" (statements made during dialogue that derail or stop the conversation).

Breakout sessions will offer the opportunity to brainstorm with participants across our national higher education network. Sponsored by the University of Michigan and the Difficult Dialogues National Resource Center, co-founded by Libby Roderick, director of 新加坡六合彩开奖's Difficult Dialogues Initiative.
