Join the buddy program to help a new employee and make a connection outside your department!
The Buddy Program, hosted by the Employee Experience department, is intended to be a fun and casual six-month commitment, with a monthly meeting for coffee, lunch or whatever setting works best for both of you! There are options for both faculty and staff. If you have questions, please email uaa_onboarding@alaska.edu.
Note: Participation in this program is social (not mentorship) and does not count toward promotion, tenure or retirement.
For Existing Employees

If you want to learn more, please attend our optional info session on Tuesday, Sep. 17, 12:30鈥�1 p.m. It will be an opportunity to ask questions, hear from those who have participated in the program, and clarify your role as a buddy! RSVP by emailing uaa_onboarding@alaska.edu. If you are not able to attend, or are ready to sign up now, please fill out the buddy request form to be paired with a new employee.
