Who

An invigorating Open Forum has been planned by:

  • Carrie King, accreditation co-chair and professor, dietetics and nutrition;
  • Jackie Cason, professor, writing;
  • Mary Jo Finney, dean, мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± Graduate School;
  • Scott Downing, director of Academic Affairs and associate professor, English; and
  • Tanya Pont, executive director, University Advancement

All faculty, staff and students are welcome to join!

What

This is a cross-institution, all-campus open forum to help faculty and staff identify how their program or service contributes to student learning for the core competency 'Creative and Critical Thinking'.

Where

Attendance in-person [ANC - LIB 307; MSC - FSM 106; KBC - P209; KPC – WARD 118; KOD: KCC 212; PWSC: VDZ 143] and virtual.

When

Friday, March 1, 2024, 9-10:30 a.m.. Sign-in and coffee begin at 8:30 a.m.

Why

The open forum will frame the conversation around student learning opportunities in creative and critical thinking, showcase exemplars throughout the мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± community, and provide an opportunity for reflection and articulation of attendees’ work in these areas.
