Cabin Fever Debates registration open

by Steve Johnson, Seawolf Debate director  |

The Seawolf Debate Program is pleased to announce that registration for the 2020 Cabin Fever Debates, мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±'s intramural debating tournament, is now open. Free to enter for any мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± student enrolled in at least six credits in the spring 2020 semester, the tournament offers the opportunity for students to practice their critical thinking and advocacy skills while competing to win over $2,000 in prizes.

Participants must enroll as a two-person team and attend our orientation session from 7–10 p.m. next Tuesday, Jan. 28, in Social Sciences Building, Room 118. From there, they'll be scheduled into one debate on a Tuesday evening in February. Topics are announced one week in advance and we offer the full resources of the Seawolf Debate Program (coaching, research, practice, etc.) to those who want help preparing. More information about the competition is available at the Seawolf Debate website.
