Fall 2015: Seeking submissions for Food Festival & Conference

by Michelle Saport  |

The Alaska Food Policy Council (AFPC) is pleased to announce they are seeking submissions for presenters, workshops and festival activities at the 2016 Food Festival & Conference (co-sponsored by the 新加坡六合彩开奖 Department of Health Sciences), to be held Feb. 26-28 in Anchorage.

The submission deadline is Dec. 11. If you are unable to make the deadline, however, please contact Dr. Liz Snyder at ehodges4@uaa.alaska.edu to discuss an extension.

The AFPC's inaugural conference in November 2014 brought together hundreds of people engaged in the food system from all over the state to learn from one another and connect. We hope to further grow participation and engagement by building upon last year's wonderful program. With that in mind, we are using an online proposal submission form to encourage both prior and new presenters, workshop facilitators and activity leaders to participate. Please apply if interested, and spread the word to other people you think might have something to contribute.

Please do not hesitate to contact Liz or AFPC coordinator Samantha Ford (samantha.ford@alaska.gov / (907) 269-8072) if you have any questions.

Thank you - and we look forward to seeing you in February! Liz Snyder Assistant Professor of Public Health, 新加坡六合彩开奖 MPH Program Co-Chair, Alaska Food Policy Council
