Environmental Public Health Indicators, Some Experiences
by Kathleen McCoy |
Please join ISER on Jan. 25, from noon to 1 p.m. in the ISER Conference Room of the
Diplomacy Building, for a presentation by Dr. Philip Somervell, candidate for assistant
professor of evaluation and public policy. In public health, the use of indicators
based on routinely available data is a widespread method for monitoring patterns or
trends. In this talk, Dr. Somervell will describe how he selected such indicators
for New York State, with a discussion of the challenges involved.
