Though not a requirement, the department recommends that students take MUS 156 (Functional Piano) to help them prepare for the Piano Proficiency Exam.
Eight semesters of 鈥楳ajor Ensemble鈥� are required. All BM music majors may take up to two semesters (four credits) of an ensemble outside of the one designated for their major to fulfill their 鈥楳ajor Ensemble鈥� requirement.
